Catch the inspiring football movie starring Denzel Washington and Hayden Panettiere. Anyone entering grades 7 to 12 is welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Monday, June 30, 2-5 PM - The Amazing Race: Homewood Edition
Compete in the library's version of the Amazing Race, based on the TV show. Pairs of two will race against the clock to complete fun and exciting challenges all over the library. Anyone entering grades 7-12 is welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Monday, July 7, 7-8 PM - Teen Writing Group - Songwriting Workshop
Learn how to write your own song lyrics, with the help of a local musician. Refreshments will be served. Anyone entering grades 7 to 12 is welcome.

Monday, July 14, 7-8 PM - Teen Book Discussion
This summer, we'll be discussing "Runner" by Carl Deuker. When Chance Taylor's dad can't keep up with the cost of their houseboat, Chance adds some stops on his weekly running route, picking up packages for a guy who pays him $200 a week. But he's starting to worry about what's in the packages. This quick-paced thriller will have you asking big questions about patriotism and courage. Anyone entering grades 7-12 is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served. Ask for a copy of the book at the circulation desk.
