What's New Upstairs?
Although renovations are still going on, the second floor is now accessible to our patrons. The computers are located on the east wing of the upstairs, while the northern side houses the study rooms, reading area, multi-purpose room, and the new cafe. The computer area does not have it's new furniture yet, but the area is open for use.
Here's what's new in the north wing

Come join us for a cup of coffee....
Both regular and decaf coffee are available, as is hot water for making a cup of tea.
We are planning to expand the choices with perhaps cocoa or cider, and possibly some high end vending machines.

Study Time.....
Each study room is equipped with a desk lamp and a clock. All rooms have an outlet for plugging in your laptop. Three of the rooms are for single occupants, while the two remaining ones are large enough to fit 2 people.

Sit down and relax...
Come on upstairs and try out one of our new chairs. This small reading area is located near the study rooms.

Staff Use.....
Among other things, the Multipurpose Room will be used for staff meetings, book discussions, and computer classes. It will not be available for public use, but we kinda wanted to show it off anyway.

In addition to these improvements, the Friends of the Homewood Library will be getting a more permanent fixture for their book sales. This will be located upstairs just to the left of the stairs.
