Outreach

The Homewood Public Library loves reaching out to our community's daycare centers!

Each month outreach travels to various daycares offering stories, songs, games and sometimes a movie. During our Fall/Winter sessions we read stories from various authors.  We started with books from Mother Goose, Marc Brown, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Laura Numeroff. The daycares that participated were; Alpha Campus, Homewood Park District’s-The Learning Tree, Stepping Stones, Homewood Children Center, Star Bright, God’s Little Academy, Learn As You Grow, Lots of Love and Bright Start. Thanks to all the daycares who allow us to serve them throughout the year. Please visit us on Facebook and become a friend.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR SUMMER OUTREACH PROGRAM!

This year, we had a total of 316 children sign up for our daycare outreach program by reading a total of 1020 books!
