Go Green

The Homewood Library is partnering with the H-F Park District for the new "Green-Up, H-F!" program.  Live "green" and fill your punch cards.  Filled punch cards can then be turned in at either the Irwin or Goldberg park office for a chance to win prizes in a monthly drawing.  

At the library, you can obtain a punch card at the Front Desk.  You will receive a punch from a Front Desk clerk if you:

• Bring your own mug to use in the cafe.
• Bring your own bag to carry library materials.
• Buy a "green" bag for 50 cents.

The library will no longer be offering plastic bags to carry materials out of the building.
