lllinois (State)

Circuit Breaker/Illinois Cares Rx Forms:
Effective July 1, 2012, Illinois Cares Rx was terminated and the Circuit Breaker Property Tax Relief Grant was eliminated due to the lack of funding. To read more about this and apply for other benefits, see the Illinois Dept of Aging website.

AARP Tax Return Preparation

February 4 - April 15, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Volunteer AARP tax consultants will assist in preparing state and federal income tax forms. Bring last year's tax return, your 1099 and W-2 forms, plus real estate taxes paid the previous year. This service is free to those 55 and older. Please note that the IRS requires a photo ID.
