Digital Media Lab...
a creative space where you're invited to Do, Make, Learn!
The DML is a creative technology studio with top-of-the-line software and equipment that will allow you to create high-quality projects in many different media.
Do, Make, Learn -- Monthly Skill-Building Projects
Each month the DML will feature a project that will help you learn a new skill. You can reserve the DML at a time that works for you, and instructions for that month's project and any related materials you'll need will be found in the Lab. However, if you feel you'd like some help with the project, we'll have a time each week when a staff member will be available to answer your questions and provide assistance. Video greeting cards, professional logos, and DIY origami are just some project examples. Check our online calendar monthly for information about each month's project.
- Wednesdays, 4 - 5 p.m.
- Open to all ages
- Registration not required
The project for March will be Photobooth Tag. Use Apple's Photobooth app and funny effects to make you and your partner laugh. Whoever laughs first/most must allow his or her partner to make a funny post on social media.
We invite girls in 5th-8th grade to explore STEAM concepts and have fun embracing their nerdy sides in our Digital Media Lab! Each month we'll complete hour-long activities including coding, 3D printing, and more.
- Thursday, April 9 -- 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- Online registration is required each month.
