A Storytelling Event for Adults

African Storytelling
Listen to Mitch Capel--also known as Gran'dady Junebug--a storyteller who celebrates African-centered traditions from around the world. We invite adults to join us for this exciting event.

This performance is part of the National Association of Black Storytellers’ Adopt-A-Teller Program being held during the 32nd Annual Black Storytelling Festival and Conference based at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn. The festival is sponsored by the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc.

  

HPL Community Blood Drive

Saturday, November 15
9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will be blood drivetaken first.  Photo ID required. Please sign up  online or contact Debbie at 708-798-0121 ext. 278 to schedule your donation time.
